Masojídek, Jiří

Prof. RNDr. Jiří MASOJÍDEK, CSc. - senior researcher and professor at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (courses of enzymology, biochemistry, basics of scientific communication and biotechnology). He studied biochemistry at Charles University in Prague, his doctor's degree in the field of microbiology defended at the Institute of Microbiology ASCR in Prague in 1984. His habilitation and professor degree obtained in the field of cellular and molecular biology and genetics at the Faculty of Science at University of South Bohemia. He works at the Institute of Microbiology ASCR since 1977, was head of the Laboratory of Algal Biotechnology in 2005-2011, he was also the head of Division of Biotechnology at the Institute of Physical Biology, University of South Bohemia in Nové Hrady.
