The symposium is primarily designed for students and warmly welcomes PhD and Master’s students, as well as early career researchers who are passionate about cyanobacterial science and eager to connect, share knowledge, and grow within the community.

We would like to inform the participants that there is a possibility to be accommodated in the University dormitory facilities.
Accommodation arrangements can be made by contacting Mgr. Ivana Lovetinska via email ilovetinska@jcu.cz. Please use the subject line: “Cyano2026” and include the email cyano2026@alga.cz in CC. In the email, participants are kindly requested to indicate that the request is made in connection with Conference Cyano2026, specify the required accommodation dates (check-in and check-out), and provide basic personal details (e.g., full name and affiliation).
Participants who are willing to share a room are kindly requested to indicate this clearly in their email. Additionally, they may specify the appropriate name(s) if they are traveling with a colleague or acquaintance with whom they wish to share accommodations. Participants who do not have a preferred roommate may simply indicate their willingness to share accommodation.
Please be advised that participants who do not request shared accommodation may be accommodated individually and will be obligated to pay the full cost of the room in accordance with the guest accommodation conditions.
Prices for accommodation and terms and conditions are detailed in the attached PDF document.
As room capacity is limited, participants are kindly encouraged to arrange their accommodation at their earliest convenience. Alternatively, participants who prefer not to use the dormitory facilities are welcome to explore other accommodation options independently.
