Main research interest

My main research interest is focused on searching of bioactive compounds maninly from algae and cyanobacteria. I design appropriate methods of their detection and isolation with use of HPLC-HRMS techniques. With high resolution mass spektrometry I am able to elucidate structures of majority of bioactive compounds, especailly peptides and lipopeptides. Nowadays I deal with metabolomics with use of GC-APCI-HRMS technique.

Scientific expertises

HPLC-HRMS/MS techniques for small molecules identification, compound purification, interpretation of mass spectra
