In 2006-2007, the Institute of Microbiology of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Třeboň has participated in the INTERREG IIIA Community Initiative Programme, Czech Republic with the project "Incubator for Algal Biotechnologies - Czech-Austrian Partnership for Science" in collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences in Krems, Austria (IMC Fachhochschule Krems, www.imc-krems.ac.at).
Other partners in this programme have been the Institute of Physical Biology of the University of South Bohemia and the Institute of Systems Biology and Ecology of the Czech Academy of Sciences - www.greentech.cz, both located in Nove Hrady. With these partners in Nove Hrady, the consorcium The Micro-region for Biological Technologies: Třeboň-Nove Hrady was established.
The project made it possible to build a new complex of laboratories close to the main building of the Institute. These laboratories are used for joint research in the field of biomedicine and biotechnology utilisation of photosynthetic microorganisms - algae and cyanobacteria, which will available for all partners.
In Jahren 2006 - 07 hat sich das Makrobiologische Institut der Akademienwissenschaften von der Tschechischen Republik in Třeboň an dem Programm Initiativen der Gesellschaft Interreg IIIA, die Tschechische Republik - Österreich, mit einem Projekt "Inkubator für Algen-Biotechnologien - Tschechisch - Österreichische Partnerschaft für Wissenschaft" in Zusammenarbeit mit einem Österreichischen Partner (Fachhochschule Krems www.imc-krems.ac.at ) teilgenommen.
Die nächsten Partner des Programms sind das Institut der Physikal Biologie der Südböhmischen Universität und die Anstalt für System-Biologie und Ekologie der Wissenschaftakademie der Tschechischen Republik Nové Hrady - www.greentech.cz . In der Zusammenarbeit mit Partnern in Nové Hrady wurde eine biotechnologische Mikroregion Trebonsko-Novohradsko gebildet.
Das erwähnte Projekt hat ermöglicht, dass die alten Labors von 70-er Jahren Komplet abgerissen wurden und ein neues Komplex von an dem Hauptgebäude angebauten Labors entstehen konnte.
Das neue Gebäude ist mit Laborgeräten und einer
Einrichtung ausgerüstet, die dank der Unterstützung vom
Projekt gekauft wurden.Die Labors werden für eine
gemeinsame Forschung verwendet werden - im Bereich für
Biotechnologie und Biomedizin ( Ausnützung von
fotosyntetischen Mikrooranismen - Algen und Blaualgen).
V letech 2006 - 2007 se Mikrobiologický ústav Akademie věd České republiky v Třeboni zúčastnil Programu Iniciativy Společenství Interreg IIIA, Česká republika - Rakousko s projektem "Inkubátor pro řasové biotechnologie - Česko-rakouské partnerství pro vědu" ve spolupráci s rakouským partnerem - vysokou školou IMC Fachhochschule Krems, www.imc-krems.ac.at .
Dalšími partnery programu se staly Institut fyzikální biologie Jihočeské univerzity a Ústav systémové biologie a ekologie Akademie věd České republiky Nové Hrady - www.greentech.cz . Ve spolupráci s partnery v Nových Hradech byl vytvořen bio-technologický mikroregion Třeboňsko - Novohradsko.
Výše zmíněný projekt umožnil kompletní zbourání starých laboratoří ze 70. let a vybudování nového komplexu laboratoří napojeného na hlavní budovu Mikrobiologického ústavu v Třeboni. Nová budova je vybavena laboratorními přístroji a zařízením zakoupeným z prostředků projektu. Laboratoře budou využívány pro společný výzkum v oboru biomedicínckých a biotechnologických využití fotosyntetických mikroorganismů (řas a sinic).
