Library of the Institute of Microbiology AS CR
Our library was founded in 1972 by dividing the library collection of algal workplaces Czech Academy of Sciences between Trebon Institute of Botany and Microbiology Department. It is registered in the National Library in Prague and its locational brand is JHB501. Czech Ministry of Culture issued a "Certificate of registration as libraries" and assigned registration number 5816/2004.
According to the Library Act 257/2001 Coll. is a basic library with a specialized library collection. It includes scientific and professional publications from home and abroad in the fields of: biochemistry, biophysics, biology, photosynthesis, physiology and biotechnology algae.
The Library provides public library and information services, which are provided for by law, for example free access to a document library through interlibrary loan services - MVS.
